Autumn Sesshin 2008

Where : 10 and 12 Dent St Goolwa Beach

Cost : $205 for the three nights, $175 for two nights. Full time attendance is preferred.

The Zen Sesshin is a fully-residential retreat form that has been perfected over a thousand years. It is designed to settle participants and lead them to awakening. The primary focus of sesshin is zazen, the Zen form of meditation.

Sesshin procedure will follow the form used by the Diamond Sangha. There will be three vegetarian meals per day and participants will be assigned tasks associated with meal preparation and cleanup.

Bob Joyner, is the resident teacher of the Adelaide Zen Group. He received full Dharma Transmission in the Diamond Sangha lineage in July 2003.

Places at the sesshin are limited. A Stateliner bus travels four times daily to Goolwa. If an applicant has difficulty meeting the payment schedule, please discuss the matter with the organiser.
